Bob Moser edits The Texas Observer. A native North Carolinian, he edited the award-winning Independent Weekly before being named a Knight Fellow at Stanford University. Bob has been a senior writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center and a senior editor at The Nation. He's the author of Blue Dixie: Awakening the South's Democratic Majority.
Texas native Gregg Barrios is a playwright and poet who wrote for the Los Angeles Times, was a book editor at the San Antonio Express-News, an editorial page editor for Rumbo, and a teacher in Texas and California. He is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild and on the Board of Directors of the National Book Critics Circle. Gregg also wrote for The Rag in Sixties Austin. Gregg Barrios' article, "Risque Business," about Texas burlesque queen Candy Barr appeared at the Texas Observer and on The Rag Blog.
